hey i tried searching for this but i could not find what i was looking for. is there a way to see if there is an attachment in an email before opening it? i know aol has a paperclip next to the message to show there is an attachment, does apple mail also have some time of notification, thanks in advance!

Yes, it's a column you can turn on. I believe you have to open View Options (Cmd+J) to add it? Or can you right click on the column headers (From, To, Date, etc.)? I'm away from my home computer which uses Mail so I can't say for sure.
