Is there a way to sync email across computers? I like to use Mail.app to access my email. I've just switched to Gmail from my college email address and want to be able to access the email from either my desktop or my laptop. Once the email has been accessed by one computer, the other computer can no longer download the message. The other thing that stands in my way is that my desktop computer is a Dell running Windows. Any suggestions?

an IMAP email service is what you need, such as ....

sigh, AOL mail

about the only good thing about AOL nowadays.

Haha AOL. You could not PAY me to return (was a customer back in the dial-up days) to their service. I know that IMAP is the best way to do that, but I hate how slow IMAP is and that you don't get to keep a copy on your computer. Oh well, I guess I don't NEED to access my email on 2 computers. Maybe it's time I migrated away from my desktop anyways as it's quickly becoming a dinosaur (5 years old, haha).

That's one way to do it. I didn't think of that. It's kinda round-about, but it should work.
