I was having a play around with safari settings and it seems if I turn off JavaScript, page loading is noticeably quicker on sites like this yet I can't see any visual difference?

I don't have a 3gs but if I compare it now with 3gs demos on YouTube, my 3g is now as fast as or even faster at page loading!?

I also found the app freememory helps to keep things swift

Wirelessly posted (iPod touch 32GB: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

Turning off JavaScript will also break a lot of sites.
