Hello!

I have an interesting quandry. I am interested in making a song for my wife for Valentine's day. Unfortunately, I really can't sing! I know I can make my mac "talk" via the speech synthesis options already present in most applications and the OS. I am wondering if there is any way for me to make the computer "sing"? I was hoping to compose a song in garageband, and have the computer sing her the lyrics. Does anyone know of any way to accomplish something like this? I tried speech and it sounded functional for conversation, but I couldn't come up with a way to make it sing...

On a semi-related topic, does anyone know how to rip sound clips from movies? I heard of audio hijack, which could work for me, but i dont really know if there are more efficient ways. I have a bunch of movies in qt for itunes already, i just thought I might strip sound effects and mix them in with some music for this project. Is there any easy way to access those sounds in garageband?

Any ideas would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Ashish
