http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-gay-pride-la-weapons-20160612-snap-story.html Dunno if this is linked to the Orlando Shooting but jeez, I sure am glad this guy was caught beforehand so we don't have two horrific tragedies on the same day Whats this world coming to?
The L.A. mayor says "the two events are not connected." The L.A. mayor must have his own personal global intelligence agency if they can say that with such utter certainty.
I wonder if the press will report the cultural background of the parents of this guy like they did for the guy in Orlando.
Dunno how to embed a twitter post but here is the message that went out to Law Enforcement officials: https://twitter.com/RobertFaturechi/status/742030062854119424
Agreed, it's too early to tell, thanks to lack of evidence. All we know is, mainstream gay hangouts seem to be popular targets. If the incidents are related, then we should hope so. If they're not related, then we should hope so.
After Orlando, the Muslim terrorists are onto something. Densely packed room or parade of gays in largely gun-free zones. The security and insurance expense of these venues are going to go through the roof. The visibility that the gay lobby craves is under attack.
Pink pistols are at the parade. Along with plenty of friends who carry so a shooter there would not be so effective as it was in the gun free night club
That you'll need to ask the Muslim extremists. ISIS was reported to deploy special agents in their stronghold areas to ply potential gay victims and then execute them on the spot. Conspicuous parades and clubs appear to be fish in a barrel and present a greater ROI.
Orlando terrorist, Omar Mateen, voted for Obama twice; James Wesley Howell, apparently would-be killer although intention hasn’t been actually established, is a Bernie supporter. https://www.facebook.com/permalink....d=100006569850197&comment_id=1731934470368865
many states have closed primaries; and election officials need some record of party affiliation. Hence the party affiliation. And records show that he voted in the general, but not in the primaries. That's essentially it. He had the opportunity to vote for Obama. He may have taken it. He might have voted for some other candidate.
That’s irrelevant to this discussion, and Trump has disavowed the endorsement by David Duke. But I have smashed Trump for retweeting white supremacists. --- Post Merged, Jun 12, 2016 --- Omar Mateen’s a registered Democrat and voted in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. 1 + 1 = 2 votes for Obama. http://voters.findthedata.com/l/28019600/Omar-Mir-Seddique-Mateen --- Post Merged, Jun 12, 2016 --- James Wesley Howell reportedly did not specify any intent to harm. http://ktla.com/2016/06/12/man-with...-he-was-going-to-l-a-gay-pride-parade-report/
So, you don't know who he voted for, then? Funny story - I was actually a registered republican in NY because back in the day I wanted Pataki to be the governor because he was for the death penalty. And i'm like, REALLY GAY. Many on here would label me a "lefty" or a "libby" or something similarly stupid. And, honestly, why the hell does it matter who he voted for?
