I had previously posted a couple of issues with Catalina.

Those issues are ongoing.

Since the most recent update I have been noticing that when resuming after a suspending (i.e. opening the lid and usually, but not always, needing to tap the power button), the machine simply won't connect to the WiFi network that it was previously connected to. Instead all I see is a greyed out WiFi logo, and if I wait long enough then it'll connect to my phone's hotspot.

Anyone else noticing this?

I’m using a regular integrated cable modem WiFi capable router that I lease from my ISP. My iPhone and windows machine don’t have problems connecting to it, just the Mac. And it only started with the most recent update. Once I connect manually, it stays connected for the duration of use. But after a suspend that lasts a few hours the Mac refuses to connect automatically.

iPhone has both cellular and WiFi enabled.
