Maybe Trump really is losing it - can't find his limo ride right in front of him

Wow. I think someone is getting some karma paid back to him for talking about Hillary having trouble getting into a car. It's really sad when you have a car waiting right in front of you and you still can't find it. Totally embarrassing. I'm thinking we need some upper age limits placed on this job. Or at least a mental health checkup first. Because if you can't see that huge limo waiting for you then something is really wrong!

Now I know all the usual people will chime in here saying this is nothing as usual, but no. It's a sign of mental frailty. Something is going on with him.

Slow news day for the left? Maybe you can garner enough proof that this is an impeachable offense? Because we all know that none of us have ever ****ing forgot where we parked our ****ing car at the supermarket, or the ****ing airport.

Pneumonia isn't the same as mental issues. But I agree that there isn't much here. As another poster mentioned there's more than one car and it was likely more of him not remembering which one to get into. However I have seen posts/comments from both sides about this video. But do keep insisting it's something the left (only) brings up. Sounds like you were triggered by the OPs post. I mean - if you have to curse that much instead of laughing it off and posting a response without expletives.

It does happen...

I still don't think Trump has full mental capacity. I have heard him talk in teh past where you could understand what he is saying. Now a lot of it is gibberish. He is just old.
But he has all the best words ;) I agree - did you hear his Space speech? Is it any wonder that Buzz Aldrin looked completely baffled? And Trump clearly didn't get his Toy Story reference either ;)

Haha, I did see that speech. My wife and I are wonding if dementia is setting in.

…except that the Trump's limo wasn't parked on a big parking lot with dozens or hundreds of other cars, but literally right in front of his eyes.

Clearly you have never seen how they manage the vehicles. Obama came to the Cape and got in the wrong Marine 1 and had to be escorted to the right one. Never mind there were 7 of them on the flight line. It is possible that there were several limos there and he had the wrong one in mind. It does happen.

For starters, Trump has frequently been directed to Marine Force One after landing. Secondly, the Secret Service uses multiple limos when transporting by ground.

The fake media, News "Madam President" Week included, has turned fake liberals into full-blown conspiracy theorists.

You mad bro?
... and at 4:21am my time, I hope he's not on in EST, that's too early for a swear filled rage post :D

I have a friend I talk to pretty regularly in the mental health field, and while as a professional he'd never make a wild diagnosis, he did say [paraphrased], "When I watch videos from 10 years ago, I see a present day Trump that shows far more cognitive degeneration than I would normally expect as part of the aging process". He did go on to say, job stress, lots of external factors, some people have more loss than others, but still wouldn't be clinically diagnosed as having concerning impairment, etc.

I think part of him getting older is that his mind wanders. That's not to say there's degeneration or mental illness (there are other indicators likely for that). But if you listen to him - he goes off on tangents from tangents from tangents. And when you try and chart the sentences or read a transcript - it's a hot mess. And with the Space speech - it just seemed like he didn't rehearse and was reading it for the first time. At one point - he looked genuinely surprised at what he just read (the moment about bringing people together).

The irony given other threads (such as CNN) who have complete conspiracy theories as to whether or not they THREATENED the creator of the meme.

I find we could all have much better conversations if people stopped speaking in hyperbole and/or considered for a moment that you can't overgeneralize.

Also - there's no such think as a fake liberal. You're either liberal or you're not liberal. Or you can lean/accept liberal tendencies. Fake liberal doesn't exist because you would be hard pressed to find anyone who was 100% in a alignment with any such label.

You're a fake, pretend liberal if you protested Bush at every turn but turned a blind eye to Obama and Clinton.

LOL - if you say so. That's a very sad definition.
I don't really understand why. It's not that complicated.

Plenty of fake liberals on the forum. Attacked Bush like no tomorrow, ignores or tries to weasel Obama and Clinton out of the fact that they were worse than Bush.

Because not everything is black and white. And because I don't think there's anyone who actually does what you said they do. And because "worse" is subjective.

I disagree. Of course some people will just look at the flag's color, but @samcraig is one of the few sane people in here, and one of the few individuals it's interesting to disagree with.

The comment was not specifically directed at samcraig, although if you want my honest opinion, you'll find the same behaviour from his posts on Hillary/the Democrats during the election, albeit less so. I got the sense he knew the Democrats and Hillary were warmongers but just never wanted to discuss it, instead choosing to brush it off as simply concentrating on the present over the past.

Yes but we should not hide the truth. Conservatives aren't much different.
Many attack Obama for the same things that Bush was praised for (and so on throughout Presidential history). The truth is that politics is hypocritical by nature. We even had conservatives being triggered by NPR quoting the Declaration of Independence, something that before January triggered liberals.

You have a link about liberals being triggered by NPR's annual posting of the DoI?

Zin - it's a fair assumption for you to make. Not entirely accurate - but fair assumption. I do think you sometimes think I am dismissing the past to not talk about it. However - it's not a tactic to ignore the past. It's that at this moment in time I think it's important to remember the past but focus on the present. You will never change what a prior President did. However using the past to justify what is going on presently is a weak argument. You suggest that if you didn't speak up then, then you shouldn't speak up now. That's a fallacy. One doesn't require the other. Further - whether or not you agreed with actions of the past doesn't excuse the current situation.

I can be outraged now but ambivalent about other things because of a simple thing called time and perspective.
