I have a santa rosa macbook (not pro) with the intel gma x3100 chip. Is there any way I can make Battlefield 2 run under bootcamp on this laptop?
I can't afford a new computer, this is the only one I've got. Will I be able to get BF2 to run at a decent frame rate by updating my drivers and running at minimum settings? has anyone been able to make this setup work?
Plan B is to just buy battlefield 1942, because that's a pretty good game too. Or maybe just stick with wolfenstein: enemy territory. =)
does the 965 chipset mean the x3100 graphics card? Is that the chipset in the santa rosa Macbooks?
Thanks!
edit: this page would seem to indicate yes:

edit: I updated the intel graphics drivers and downloaded the battlefield 2 demo, and it runs, so it looks like the answer is yes. I'm gonna get the game, expansion pack, and the 2 booster packs. I'll let you know if anything doesn't run.
