    Hello,

I see they just refreshed the airport extreme even though it looks the same as far as I can see. It has a few new features like guest access for internet only.

I was curious if there were any reviews that compared range and speed - wired and wireless on this unit vs. the previous unit. I know it has other new features but all I care about is if they improved range and speed for routing.

    Thanks

With dual-band broadcasting on the new model, you should see significantly improved performance for 802.11n devices operating in a mixed environment with slower 802.11b/g devices.

    Dang

Thanks - I have one other computer and one other laptop (two wired and one wireless). I do transfer large amounts of data between them - often over 50GBs on a regular basis. I was hoping the n throughput on the new airport and the routing on the new airport would be improved.
