This may sound like one of those 'too good to be true' deals, but the MBAs sold here are brand new, sealed in the original boxing and unused. I bought two of the machines for Christmas as gifts :D

Viking Direct are an office supplies company - very big in the UK - so if you are entitled to expenses claims at work, you can claim back money from the receipt of this product. After claiming on my expenses, these laptops came in for just over £500 each.

    Enjoy.

But that's £749 excluding VAT, the actual price will be £861.

That's still considerably cheaper than a new MBA and it's brand new, compared to a refurb model.

But I guess this deal is probably more inclined towards businesses. If can get the VAT relief, it's still £749. :)

Very unusual - the 1.8 with SSD is £250 cheaper than the 1.6 with conventional HD!

Methinks someone's missed a 1 off the front of the 1.8's price...

Same price as John Lewis has been for a year now, nothing new here.

what's with that? It was like that here in the US/Canada stores last week but they fixed it.

    Still puzzling though...

John Lewis has been selling MBAs for under a grand since it was launched?
