Hi There,

My MacBook Pro is connected to a communal printer at the Law Library at school and every time I print something - most commonly Word Documents - the printer queues my desired print pages, but then also includes a print receipt as an additional page. Thus, I never know which project is the one I want to print and it is a huge waste.

Does anyone know how to eliminate these receipts?

Thanks

I thought the receipt was used to identify the user who printed and the pages they printed.

That is likely a setting specific to that printer as it needs to identify who printed what among lots of prints. My guess is that the user account that you use to print will have a builtin setting. Or when you print there might be a setting in the print menu that opens up (⌘ + P).

If you print through a printer server that goes through to the printer, then that printer server might be adding the extra page. If so, then it's out of your hands.
