I have my all in one Epson CX9400F and HP Laserjet printer hooked directly to my PC desktop.
I have always printed wirelessly with my MBP through the home network setup using my HP printer.
I decided to try it with my all in one Epson CX9400F today.
I set it up as a printer and it worked perfect.
Now when I try and open the Epson Scan software, it doesn't see it at all......
I think maybe my problem is that I need to type in a location for it (Something like smb:// ????? ), but I'm not sure.
Any advice?
I'm very novice at this.
 
See if the Image Capture application sees the Epson. If it doesn't you may need to download something from Canon's website to get the Epson to show up.
