The last two times I've shut my notebook's lid and put it in my carrying case, I've almost melted the computer. By the time I took out the computer it was so hot I literally could not hold the computer in my hands...this has only happened since updating to 10.5.7

    What's the dealio??!???!

Similar problems, but I've noticed it's linked to the built-in keyboard, which seems to cause erratic keystrokes all by itself after installing 10.5.7. For example, pressing "a" gives me "af", pressing "p" gives me "p0-", etc. Reformat and install did not help, so I've got a Genius appointment this afternoon.

Somehow caused a hardware problem with the keyboard, no idea how. Maybe the heat when the computer wouldn't sleep? It's out for repair...
