After going back and forth for months I picked up my MBP (AT&T employees get 8% off!) and have really been enjoying it for a few weeks now. My question is to all of you who have another display. Is the cinema display the only one that supports the 2nd screen as opposed to mirroring? Or will any external monitor work as a "dual screen"?

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but i didn't post any "where can i get my MacBook for 30% off or any other newbie questions so this is mine. :D
    Thanks!
    Ben

    Any monitor will work. Any.

You just need the appropriate adapters, like Mini DisplayPort to VGA or Mini DisplayPort to DVI.

yeah, any monitor will work, just go into system prefs and deselect mirror displays.
