McConnell attempts a clean repeal of ObamaCare (ACA), and

utterly fails an hour after he proposes it.

It simply proves in politics it is far, far easier to do something when the opposition is president, than when you hold all the cards.
And how dysfunctional the Republican party has become.

How many Republicans does it take to craft a new health bill............. You know if Obamacare was never called Obamacare and just the ACA, we probably wouldn't even be having this debate. So focused on repealing for years with no actual plan in place that they can all agree on after all this time.

Yes that one, otherwise known as the party of bluff since no real plan was thought up for the 7 1/2 years of crying wolf.

Repeal and replace is going to create a bigger mess than if you were to fix what's already there. Scrap the crap that doesn't work but keep the essential things like the ones mentioned above. The problem is that the Right has a wide demographic, some of which benefit from the ACA but hate Obamacare(?) .. smh.

Which suggest the entire effort was really against Obama and not the bill.

....Actually, Obama is the only reason they want to repeal it.

You mean the middle America that is too rich for the subsidies and now has to afford the 116%, 69%, 51% premium increases?

The GOP is like a dog that for years, has been chasing squirrels, and when it finally manages to catch a squirrel, it has no idea what to do with it.

The repeal and replace was truly against Hillary (no complaint there).
    Majority wanted to keep ACA.

You are not the only one! Even music stars do now too. :)
Sen. Susan Collins joins Cyndi Lauper on stage in Maine

Lauper totally praised her while on stage. And the feeling is mutual:

True. But really that's largely the whole GOP main platform also and has been for eight years.

Being a hard core liberal I've always liked her myself believe it or not.

She uses what I call "common sense".

    A rarity on capitol hill.

She proves that you can be a Republican and still understand the needs of the common people. That's the kind of Republicanism that we need to return to. There's nothing wrong with conservatism. But there is something wrong with selling out to the top 1%, and pretending to care about the rest of the hoi polloi.

Quite the contrary my friend, Red states take in more in Government assistance than what they contribute in taxes as apposed to Blue states. You can look that up all you want.
