Now I think this is great. However, it's a shame that Melania doesn't seem to want to show any pictures to the children as she reads. That's usually what engages them. Also - I find it a bit amusing that a line in the story is: "Fame! You’ll be famous as famous can be, with the whole wide world watching you win on TV"

She should be writing a Seuss style book, using her husband as source material.

And onto the scene came an orange buffoon,
Some would even say he was a loon.
Or full of hot air, just like a balloon.

Let's be honest. The president either knew he would struggle reading the book or that the kids would throw stuff at him. That's why he let the wife do it

Jeez....I am certainly no Trump fan, even in the slightest, but let's not turn even reading a book to children into some anti-Trump argument.

The comments in this thread further illustrates that liberals are miserable, insufferable people masking their pathetic lives with sarcasm. SAD!

Dr Seuss' books are excellent and an abundant source for social debate and education. Good for her.

She would have been better off reading a fashion magazine. At least she would have sounded enthusiastic.

Dr Suess? Great stuff for children and adults alike and seriously good bedtime (or anytime) reading.

Have to agree with you, there.

Cue the....."Jesus Christ she doesn't even know how to read a book to children". "She's so out of touch from normal people". etc etc etc.

Good for her for getting involved.

My comment didn't come from that place. I think the program and outreach is great. I just wish she just let the kids see the pictures. How is that wrong to suggest?
Wasn't intended to. I was amused by that one line which I didn't even remember

Hm, aren't approximately 85% of your comments like "liberals/lefties have no fun"? Thanks for your "contribution".

No idea, I haven't crunched the numbers, nor do I care but I'm willing to bet you're being over-dramatic. Maybe there's something to it if it keeps getting repeated.

    Speaking of "contributions"...

Looking at Dr. Seuss's pics or watching Melania's lovely face as she reads aloud. That's not even a choice.

Yes? Please finish your thought because I'm sure you can't be implying that young children aren't impressed by queenly beauty and grace.
