Memory for my G4 Powerbook

I was wondering if anyone knows if its okay to put two different versions of RAM in my powerbook. I currently have 512 MB of DDR2 PC2 4200... i'm thinking about buying 1GB of DDR2 PC2 5300 RAM. Would this cause any problems with my powerbook? Has anyone tried this before?

I think it would be "backward compatible" with the Powerbook's ram speed of 4200 or whatever it is. For example, I had some PC2700 ram in an older powerbook that could also use PC2100 ram. if it is the same pin count, it probably works.
