iPod Menus and song video on video output.

Anyone knows if the iPod classic or touch display the menu and song info on the video out? Thanks.

i think it does because the previous ones had video output via the headphone jack and i don't that can support real data, but no it's with the 30-pin connector.

Well, if it was being output to the TV you'd think you could render the txt on the output anyway..

Yes. But the old video ipods never rendered song info or cover art on the video output.

And that's incredibly frustrating b/c I find it easier to hook my iPod up to a TV than to go out and buy an iPod dock with speakers. But whatever. It'd be great if the new ones offered this option...
