    Just on news now.

    NYT report.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s Ex-Lawyer Who Implicated Him in Hush-Money Scandal, Sentenced to 3 Years

Expect to see twitter tirade from "Individual 1" shortly.

I think it is harsh, concerning he cooperated closely. I would do 11 months, but its NY doing this.

Also consider he is cooperating with Mueller. I have a feeling Individual 1 will have Twitter vomit soon.

Before they become lawyers they are usually working for the DA's office prosecuting others and putting others away behind bars but as time goes on karma catches up with people. He now gets to visit a place where he spent the early years of his career putting people in. Not only that but he met his own fate by having someone in his own career line of business go after him. Last but not least he worked for someone bad and ended up having bad things happen to him. Next in line, TRUMP....

But how closely did he really cooperate ?

It is the state of NY doing the sentencing but, if Cohen was cooperating and he was important to the Mueller probe or a NY indictment of Trump, Cohen would have received a much shorter sentence.

Feel free to tell me that I was wrong if it happens but I believe that Trump will not be indicted by NY.

You remember the last scene from All the President's Men, with the wire printing out alerts regarding people in the Nixon administration and campaign being indicted and convicted for crimes? I am having déjà vu. We need to wait for the Mueller report, but my suspicion is that we'll be using the term cover-up far more frequently over the next year than we used to.

Rudy Giulliani: “This sentence totally clears President Trump. His former personal lawyer pleading guilty to crimes he admitted to doing at the direction of the President shows that Trump had nothing to do with this”.

I think Rudy's senility is even more pronounced than Donald's. Maybe they can share a room in the home. Or whatever it's called.

It's like watching the Godfather and everyone except for Corleone is guilty, in real life. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.

Hard to believe that Rudy Giulliani's a lawyer.

The correct terminology should have been "Cohen claims that ..."

Another person that I also can't believe is a lawyer is Cohen himself. I was reading that now Cohen is complaining because he didn't have a lawyer while talking to the FBI.

Sorry folks, I should have been clear... Rudy didn't say that. That was me mocking him. But I'm sure its coming.

Question is how much time he will really do and if Trump ends up pardoning him at one point or another down the road.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...ed-today-that-prosecutors-have-evidence-trump

Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano said the American public "learned" on Wednesday that federal prosecutors have evidence President Trump committed a crime.

"Career prosecutors here in New York have evidence that the president of the United States committed a felony by ordering and paying Michael Cohen to break the law,” Napolitano said while speaking on Fox News. “How do we know that? They told that to the federal judge. Under the rules, they can’t tell that to the federal judge unless they actually have that hardcore evidence. Under the rules, they can’t tell that to the federal judge unless they intend to do something with that evidence."

Cohen may not have totally cooperated with the NY prosecutors out of concern for safety. After all, he and Trump have dealt with some very shady people over the years. Also, I heard it's possible Cohen will be offered more opportunities to cooperate even after he starts his sentence, so he may end up with less than 3 years.
