    Oh, this is rich.

    "BACHMANN PRAISES OBAMA'S WIN, NOW"

Not a turncoat, eh? What a slimy b*tch.

It's unbelievable that she, out of all people, managed to weather the storm when so many Republicans who aren't insane were thrown out.

Really. Why is she still there while Chris Shays is gone?

What made me angry was that I am not in her district and could not vote against her.

And of course, the answer to both of you is that she is a reflection of what the GOP faithful want in office. They don't want Chris Shays and his namby-pamby what's-best-for-America BS. They want red meat, served raw. And they want it NOW.

Of course, Bill Sali got the boot too, and Shays is in an area trending bright blue -- maybe his loss was inevitable.

How people like her even exist in congress is just beyond comprehension.

And I find it strange that Minnesota, which is a Liberal state, keeps electing these Republican people.

She's actually toned it down. The week after she said it, she called them outright lies.

Bachman is a US Representative, meaning she only represents a small portion of the Minnesota electorate, which in her case happens to be a predominantly Republican portion of the electorate.

You would probably consider California to be "a Liberal state", yet Darrel Issa represents a District here, as does Duncan Hunter, both very conservative folks.

Hey, I have to give Bachmann credit. I have property on the Disabled Veteran's Rest Camp up on Big Marine Lake in Minnesota. Local Democrats wanted to take away the land for their own use and Bachmann truly was the only politician that really helped the land stay private. I really respect her for that.

Maybe she is one of those that caused a "reverse Bradley Effect" i.e. She said everything she could think of to make people believe she wouldn't vote for the black guy but when it came to the crunch, common sense prevailed and she put her little mark down for Obama.

Pity, but as long as you voted for Al Franken you can sleep easy.
