Microphone not working during calls in speaker mode

Hey guys,

just upgraded to the official ios14 release and noticed that when I’m placing calls with speaker button toggled the microphone stops working. I already reported issue to Apple. Anyone having the same issue?

Have you tried restarting your device? Does the microphone seem to work in other ways, like when recording a video or a voice memo, or when using Siri?

Yes I have, I also took the extra step to do a restore on it. Didn’t resolve. Siri does not work and voice memos don’t work either

Having no issues on my 11 pro max. If you have already done those few things to attempt to fix it, it may be a hardware problem. Was it working fine before with no issues? Hopefully you get it sorted out, good luck.

I am having the same problem on my iPhone Xs Max. Microphone is not working on speaker mode for calls and voice memo but It works with other apps. (I tried recording a video of me talking and use a third party voice memo app) It wasn't happening on iOS 13.7
