Pretty much what the title says,
since updating to Mountain Lion my MBP always, no matter the time of day, if it's had time to cool down, where I am running it... always, always always is 20,000 degrees hot. and the fan sounds like a jet engine... life was never this hard when I had Lion :(

    anyone else?

    Yep!!

My mid-2009 MacBook Pro is the same, sometimes gets to 104 degrees c!!

I know it will get warm as its ageing but nearly to point of shutting off is a joke.

    fan sound???

my macbook pro makes this slight humming (fan?) noise... very faint though... i wonder if it's because of FAN CONTROL which i have set to 3400 rpm...?????
