I'm having the strangest issue in the world and I can't figure out what is causing it. I recently bought a new 20" C2D Imac and want to run the migration assistant from my old 17" 1GHz G4 Imac. When I run MA it starts up okay. However when I get to the part where it tells you to hold down the T key on the old Mac and restart it (the G4), the strangest thing happens. As it (G4) reboots while I'm holding the T key, the computer begins to start up and then powers down completely. If I don't hold the T key it starts up just fine like it were booting up as normal. The new 20" Imac shows no signs of anything happening to it. I'm wondering if it's a power draw issue or something strange with the software. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
