Rape?! C'mon, that woman doesn't know how to take a joke!
I must be missing the funny part of the joke. Nothing funny about what happened after the first 5 minutes.
sorry, i fail to see what was "amusing" in that article. It is sickening.
This is awful. I hope the guy rots in his cell.
Sorta off topic but I used to hear similar stories back when I was in high school. There was a set of popular, identical twin brothers at my school and the word around town was that they would take breaks and do the switcheroo. Apparently, the girls they slept with never knew what was going on (or so they claimed - I don't recall anyone ever claiming rape). Anywhoo, thanks to this story, I'm now wondering if they were telling the truth and were never caught in action or if they were doing the old "lie and brag like you did."
Agreed, that's pretty awful stuff.
Wow, that's horrible.
I can't believe she could bear to sit in the car home next to him.
I don't know what is less amusing, the story or the OP's reaction.
Lol, I was being sarcastic, but I guess it's nothing to laugh about.
You post enough around here to know how sarcasm doesn't come through always. You might want to update your post.
That is just plain aweful.
I did miss that to be honest. I guess there are few things I joke about and that would be one of them. Perhaps you should write in blue and italics.
So help me God though, if you start writing in Comic Sans.
Remember The Rule of 3!
In your defence, I thought the sarcasm was quite clear.
If someone didn't get it, then obviously what you said would be viewed as being absolutely disgusting. That's the risk of being sarcastic on a message board.
That was the hardest part of the story to read. I can't imagine how that would have felt for her.
Very sad that this guy violated two people with his uncontrolled lust - both the woman and his brother. And he's supposed to be cop???
I hope that he remembers not to bend down to pick up the soap when they throw his sorry ass in jail.
It's a good thing that my pops/mums didn't have triplets, if that ever happened, the story would have been a complete "wow, that is soooo f___ up it's not even sarcastic!"
sorry what was that about Comics???
spaceboots06 I thought I'd never see the day that there would ever be a Pikachoo ( misspelled? whatever!!) pill...I bet it tastes like crap and it's not even strong enough, phsssssh!
that is just wrong and i hope he gets the book thrown at him.
I hope he gets the whole damn library thrown at him.
The more cops I meet, the more I think they're just as screwed up as the rest of us. The only difference is that they're trained in various ways to catch criminals.
The story seems very weird, did she really ride home with the guy who just supposedly raped her?
Uh, hope he goes to jail a LONG time. Then he can have sex with people who have tatoos under similar conditions
And the right brother just sent a text message to her rather than actually going to be with her after such a terrible incident.
^ I think maybe you can understand why she may not want to take his calls. It may have been the only (and perhaps the most appropriate) way he could communicate with her under the circumstances.
Do you know what an absolutely horrific experience rape is? You are not in your right mindset at all. I'm sure that was a terrible drive home but maybe she thought it was what she had to do. Maybe she was numb and trying not to process it. Any number of things could have been going on in her mind, none of which negate what happened to her at all.
Not to mention the fact that her boyfriend looks exactly like her rapist. Rationally, she would know the difference, but it would be understandable if seeing him reminded her of it all over again.
