Back in the Tiger days, using hot corners to show all app windows was the new hotness. It worked well, with little wasted space.
Since then (I'm not sure what OS changed the behaviour) the experience has depreciated. When I show all windows, the app I'm running will appear in one corner, and if I re-open then show all windows again, it moves around, seemingly completely arbitrarily.
Group windows by application helps with the organization somewhat, but in general the feature is basically useless for me because I never know where to find any app.
I found Mission Control Plus which I was hoping would wrangle the problem, but it doesn't do what I want.
Does anyone know what I'm talking, and has any input on a fix that would keep all windows in one spot?
