I'm actually surprised to read that Missouri only has one single abortion clinic in the state. That is the Planned Parenthood location in St. Louis. The vote passed with a veto proof majority in the State House but one vote short of a veto proof majority in the State Senate.

This bill was passed by cutting deals. Imagine that, negotiation between the senators.

Mo. lawmakers pass 3-day abortion wait period

Women should not have to have a " waiting period " to control their own bodies.

Awww, the Deep south! being as logical as ever!

Missouri is far from the Deep South. Personally, I'm PRO-ABORTION. I'm a bit mixed on this bill. I see how only having one clinic in the state to kill the unborn presents a hardship for these women. Maybe the could change it to three days waiting period between pregnancy determination and the abortion.

Missouri is VERY much part of the " deep south " as far as culture and viewpoints go.

I am pro abortion to, I am more than pro choice. I think its a great idea/

    The less kids, the better.

I personally think, its her choice, no one elses.

The crux of the problem ...

And the illogic behind the measure ...

You can believe in God as much as you want, so long as you understand that we have a secular government.

When politicians create laws with the purpose of appeasing their God, they are violating the spirit and the letter of the U.S. Constitution, under which they are sworn to uphold.

Why does Planned Parenthood only have one clinic in Missouri? Why not one in Kansas City, too?

What do you find reasonable about it?

Doesn't the second amendment say something similar? But for some reason the right keeps fighting these reasonable restrictions...

The only people who really want backround checks for fellons and metnally ill people, and who want guns away from schools, churches, and a court houses.

I mean ALL of them are really into Stalin Purges, the Holocaust, and killing 80 million Chinese.

If you are at all pro gun control, you clearly are Hitler
