Is it possible? At all? I would love it. Catalina crashes and kernel panics are driving me nuts. I sorely miss Mojave.

It sounds like the issue is with your particular Mac. I've been on Catalina since it came out and not a single crash or kernel panic. I don't think it's possible to install a version of macOS that predates the hardware.

You clearly have not been reading the forums. I am far from alone with sudden shut downs.

Apple does not support installing a macOS older than the version the hardware shipped with when it was first released. The 16" MBP originally shipped with Catalina and Mojave does not have the software to support the new MBP hardware.

Not possible.
The 16" requires Catalina to boot.

If you want to run Mojave, it would have to be "within a virtual machine" (such as Parallels or VMWare Fusion)...

Clearly you don't understand how forums work. If a product sells 100,000 units and 200 of those have an issue you'll get 200 posts from looking for solutions. What you won't get is 99,800 posts asking for help on what they should do because their product is working perfectly. I didn't say you were the only one or alone. What I said was I've been on Catalina since it came out and not a single crash or kernel panic. My experance shows that Catalina can run without crashing or kernel panics. I suspect if we had a post asking for only people who have no crashes or kernel panics there would be a lot of replies.
