Hi I just bought an old MacBook Pro mid 2012 and wanted to patch it to Monterey I achieved this and it looked fine until I rebooted than it did not want to reboot
any suggestions please also would it be possible to go straight from Catalina to maybe Sonoma?

thanks

When booting, hold option key until boot picker appear. Select Open Core EFI disk. Open Core boot picker appear. Pick Monterey install.

Thanks Bigwaff
I have now got Monterey working
I have also been given the option to upgrade to Sequoia is it possible to click on upgrade or do I need to give through the patcher her routine again

I would not upgrade to Sequoia on 2012 MBP unless you have 16GB RAM or more. Read OCLP site regarding Sequoia upgrade carefully.
Yes I have 16gb ram and I think I will upgrade via the boot patcher again rather that the system saying I can upgrade
