Monterey RC Mouse Acceleration Boosted?

I went from 11.6 to the 12.0.1 RC last night and the first thing I noticed is my mouse acceleration is waaaaay more sensitive than before. At low movement speeds it seems to be the same, but as I speed up the mouse, zoom...there goes the pointer. lol

Anyone else notice this change? Just curious.

Happening also in the 12.0.1 (no RC). Fun fact: in my Mac Mini some notification settings and screen resolution were changed to default. The acceleration was not a default, but definitely multiple things changed at config levels.

yeah this started hurting my wrist since the acceleration curve is way different at higher speeds. Had to go back to big suck for the time being
