And the left wonders why people like this are characterized as a mob.
I’m the left. Proudly left. We roundly denounce this kind of violence. We don’t wonder why people like this are characterized as a mob.

What we ACTUALLY wonder is why the right doesn’t similarly denounce Nazis and fascists. Instead, you defend them as “good people.”

Quite. I agree this is bad.

Could you explain what you mean by this? Is it that you limit the term left to the statist left?
What I mean is that you have an entire faction of the media that purposely conflates anything “left” of Eisenhower as being radical, and purposely assign the term “left” to a non-organized group that is entirely reactionary to creeping fascism. Antifa isn’t an organization, it’s a flash mob being used as a boogeyman for the rubes.

There's no defending this, it crosses the line and I hope they're prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, we need to make a statement here. Oh yeah, and thanks to them for making me defend Tucker Carlson, something I never thought I would have to do.

Disgusting action by the people who did this - I hope they are apprehended and sent to jail. However, I am curious how the political views of these idiots are so well known to Fox News, the source identifying the people attacking the house as antifa's. Must be clairvoyance.

Conservatives routinely denounce identity-politics groups, such as neo Nazis. Saying they do not is just false. Not everyone who is to the right of communists are nazis.

Antifa is a left wing group. Theyre not anarchist (ie against ANY form of government). They seem to only attack conservatives who believe is less government.

So, to “the left”, stop deflecting and trying to disown. This isnt about different points of views, or protests. This is about actual organized physical violence. This, is not the kind of behavior you should overlook or quietly justify.

O.K. I see what you mean, anarchy has been scaring those in power at least since the English Civil War.Anti-fa is indeed a very loose coalition of people opposed to Fascism and may include some anarchists and indeed some ********s.

That anarchists are not part of the left is dubious in the extreme.

A Nazi is a Nazi. Charlottesville was a group of Nazis. Your president defended them.
Antifa are the fasists behaving much like the national socialists did in the early years. And they are, a leftist group, who only seem to attack conservative liberals.

If the mobs from the far left want the right to protest, then the same right is afforded to the mobs on the far right as well. See how that works?

And the government (a liberal one) cannot stop/prevent either.

Last i checked, a lot of the far-left-antifa mobs were partaking in violence and rioting(at least during the innaugration). And the left ought to be ashamed of it.

Protest does not equal violence. The Nazis ran over a woman and killed her in Charlottesville. And it was called “good on both sides.”

Nope.

Nazi - in English, wasn’t it the National Socialist Workers Party? Did it not get its right wing association because it was right of Communism, rather than right wing per say? Germany and Russia at the start of the War had their non aggression pact.

If one of our friends on the right would be nice enough to post what Antifa's public stated message or platform is, it would be greatly appreciated. Because it seems those on the right & Faux News know more about Antifa than anyone else.

No. You are terrible at history.

You must also think North Korea is democratic.
