The obsession with Sarah Palin by those on the left just keeps continuing.

This is in response to another New Hampshire Democrat. Horrigan has resigned from the Legislature.

I hope this idiot loses his race.

I'm sorry, was he incorrect? Both quotes were attributed to "Democrats," I did see the big glaring "D" by their names...

That woman is a joke. Why do you guys persist on keeping a person like that in the public eye. Don't you feel embarrassed by her being a vocal public figure?

Not to mention, was either statement wrong? Sarah Palin is not about political or any other kind of knowledge, political power, or advocating for anything.

She seems to survive based on some kind of folklore status as a female hero of the white, evangelical, hunter/gatherer crowd. If she could only exist without speaking... she'd be the perfect woman... no, she'd be the perfect republican/tea party poster woman.

If Sarah and Levi were on board, then their stupid, media whore, attention grabbing crap could finally be at an end, and maybe we as a country could move forward. It was still a bad thing to say, but hey, was he wrong?

You know damn well what's going on. Rather than focusing on statements by individuals that everyone will condemn, he's chosen to attribute this kind of attitude to "more love... from Democrats", and then prefaces his post with the phrase "those on the left".

And this after he's condemned people for accusing the Tea Party of being racist because some of it's members have made racist statements. I'm sure a post entitled "More Love for Blacks From The Tea Party" with pictures of racist signage, followed by "this obsession with racism by those on the right" wouldn't draw a peep of protest from any of our good conservative friends? Right?

You want to attack these two Democrats for this kind of thing? Knock yourself out. It's the kind of speech that doesn't belong in the political discourse. But keep those broad brushes in your bucket unless you want to be called a hypocrite.

This is very inconsistent of you, given that you were the one just a few hours ago crying about "us vs them". Or does that only work when it's Republicans being criticized?

Here the very same thing is being done by the OP, but yet you take his side. Hmm...wonder why?

So a Democrat says something stupid and resigns. Sarah Palin says something stupid, again and again and again, and what happens?

She resigns too. And then keeps making stupid statements. Only she blames nasty Democrats for forcing her to resign so she could make tons of money on the Wingnut Welfare circuit.

She gets another book deal.

Link. Hmm. Every bit as classy as the comments from Horrigan and Halloran (Harrigan, that's me! :D).

Hey look! Someone else doing the same thing the OP did, attempting to paint the entire left with the remarks of a couple of people. One almost wonders whether this is a "typical Republican response", representative of "those on the right". :p

It couldn't be "us vs them" or anything like that- not when a Republican does it.;)

Yes, he was wrong to say it.

I want her popularity and attention grabbing to die, but I will never wish death upon a person.
