iPod Movie Rentals - 24 hours start when transfered to iPod?

Alright, So I know you have 30 days to start watching a rental, and 24 hours to finish it.... But my question is, If I buy a movie on my mac and transfer it to my touch immediately [without starting it], can I keep it on my iPod for a few days before starting it, or does the 24 hours start when you transfer it to a device?

You can keep it on the touch a few days. It really is from when you start watching the movie.
