Pamela Geller had submitted ads for DC metro buses and shelters adorned with images of the prophet. Because,
… the media and the cultural and political elites continue to self-enforce the Sharia without the consent of the American people by refusing to show any depictions of Muhammad or showing what it was in Texas that had jihadists opening fire, we are running an ad featuring the winning cartoon by former Muslim Bosch Fawstin from our Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest in Garland, Texas.

The ad campaign has been submitted to the Washington, D.C. MTA to run on buses and train dioramas in the Foggy Bottom, Capitol South, Bethesda, L’Enfant Plaza, and Shady Grove stations.
So, we should paint targets for terrorism on mass transit, and they should be in a city far away, where most of the riders will be minorities and lower-class/poor folk.
Drawing Muhammad is not illegal under American law.... Violence that arises over the cartoons is solely the responsibility of the Islamic jihadists who perpetrate it.... There is nothing about this cartoon that incites violence. It is within the established American tradition of satire. If America surrenders on this point, the freedom of speech is a relic of history.
So, if anything bad were to happen, as she sits in her parlor a couple hundred miles away, it would not be her fault at all.

Seems like pretty weak tea to me.

Not me, though I have it on good authority that Jesus Christ looked almost exactly like Marshawn Lynch.

Not at all. Do you think she would ever set foot on a DC bus? Or any city bus? At least Charlie had the courage to put themselves in danger, rather than planning to paint targets on other people's backs.

Of course, Metro could just choose not to run the ads. It would be their right (even as a government run agency), one which I am fairly confident they will exercise.

No, there's solid historical evidence Muhammad existed.

Most of the riders will be minorities and lower-class/poor folk? Stereotype much?

If anything bad were to happen, it would definitely not be her fault. It would, in fact, be any violet perpetuators' fault. Does your sarcasm not understand basic facts? Or do you simply think that it would be understandable, because the ads "were asking for it" and any hypothetical violent offenders simply couldn't control themselves?

I wonder if they would allow and approve of ads on the busses over the Israeli/Palestinian issue.. Her background explains a lot about why she has so much hatred in her. She is pretty much as racist as can be.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pamela_Geller

    If the advert had read:

In any war between the civilized man and the savage,
    support the civilized man.

    Support Palestine
    Defeat Zionism

I would bet that hell would have broken loose over an advert that promotes anti-semitism against Jews/Israel. AIPAC would have made sure no judge approved such an advert but anything about Muslims,Islam or Palestinians should be given the green light for freedom of speech.

What does any of this have to do with ****ing racism?
What is it with the posters on this forum and their constant "racism" issues?

Excellent point! If anyone is a savage it is her.

Another distraction. Would it make you feel better if we called her a muslim hater?

Radicalization of Islamic followers is an issue even in Canada and US, maybe this will "draw" some light on it and let them take themselves a little less seriously.

Nothing crazy about expressing one's freedom of speech against a religion that tends to respond violently to any criticism. Anyone who doesn't see any issue in the religion has buried their head so far up their ass it's a wonder they are able to type at all.

    Religion isn't a race.

Yes, anti-Israeli/anti-zionist bus ads are also routinely run. A quick Google search shows ads were approved this year in both San Fransisco and Denmark, and last year in Boston. That was from just the first page of results

And of course, these ads have not been approved yet and so may not run - making your point moot.

Interestingly - in Denmark the anti-Israeli folks firebombed the Danish buses after the anti-Israeli ads were removed.

According to the Breitbart site referenced, he looks like an angry bearded buy waving a scimitar. And with some sort of osteopathological issues with his fingers. And he's left-handed (which seems even more unlikely) Oh, and apparently he is also a Sikh. Or he's wearing Sikh turban, rather than the sort of headgear usually associated with Muslim holy men, such as the kalansuwa.

    Geller states:

This is, prima facie, absurd. Its got nothing to do with Sharia. And I doubt that 99% of the managing editors of news organizations know the first thing about what actual shari'a law is about.

News organizations don't publish her crap because its not newsworthy. Its simply racist hate mongering.

This is just another example of people not seeing the forest for the trees...whatever omnipotent creator you believe in, do you really think that creator would want you to follow "gospel" from centuries ago in rote? I might think that instead critical thinking skills would apply, where you might work off of excellent metaphors...
