Hi All, how do I sign out of my iCloud account on Outlook on Mac?

There is a remove option in settings / account / manage / remove account, but I'm not sure if by doing this it will delete all my emails on iCloud on my Mac and iPhone.

I signed into my Outlook today using my iCloud account to give it a try. But this has caused issues between my Mac Mail and iPhone mail in that emails are not syncing properly. Example - if I delete emails on my Mac, they don't automatically delete on my iPhone. I have to open the app on the iPhone for emails to delete. The same happens the other way round - iPhone deletion does not auto delete on my Mac.

Thanks bogdanw. Just what I found but wanted to make sure it wouldn't delete all my emails else where such as my phone and mac. Will these emails be safe if I removed the account from.outlook?

It won’t harm the emails on the server. It will remove your iCloud emails from the computer (but just iCloud).

The image on Microsoft's support page says:
"Are you sure you want to sign out of this account?
All items in this account will be removed from your computer. If you have copies of messages or other items on the email server, the copies will not be affected."

Thank you gents. I've now removed it. Hopefully this will now resolve the issue I'm having on my Mac and iPhone.
