MSN for mac, checking emails

I use MSN quite a lot to chat etc,

although recently when I have clicked the email symbol to take me to my hotmail email.

I have had to log into the email itself, its as if I were never on msn messenger in the 1st place, more like just logging into hotmail

anybody else had this?

ya it's been taking me to the login screen via hotmail instead of auto signing me in like it used to

I dont know what that is but it's annoying as hell.

Surely more of you are having this problem!

I have this problem with Adium.

Every time I click to go to my inbox it takes me to the login page no matter how many times I click 'remember email address and password'

I get the message
"The e-mail address or password is incorrect. Please retype the e-mail address and password, or sign up if you haven't already done so. Need help signing in?"

Yeah,i have the same problem with you but i don't really care.Adium is a great
client and offers so many options that having to write a password is the minimum problem!

Some of us need the corporate video calling, which it doesn't offer. For everything else I use Adium, get your head outta' their butt.

I also get this problem on the private contact list too, only been doing it recently aswell.

At work I use corporate calling and it was installed a month or so ago.
And I'm aware it's Microsoft Messenger 7.

There is a setting in your preferences for MSN messenger that you can turn off.

Go into messenger (at the very top of your screen)
Then preferences
Then in the Privacy tab right down the bottom there is a tick box that says -
"Always ask me for my password when visiting web pages that require a windows live id".
Untick it.

I've had a similar issue. I can log in to MSN fine. Then if I click on check mail Safari opens and the page refreshes constantly. One fix I've found is to clear my cache (I.E cookies etc) however that's not really a suitable fix.

same here too

And on both my Macs. What do you expect more...it's Microsoft.
