I got my first Touch in October 2008, and I used it constantly. Sadly, it shut down and gave up completely in December 2009, and I bought a refurb Touch as soon as I could because I frankly couldn't live without my Touch. For the first couple months I was probably using it 8-12 hours a day listening to music in the morning, playing games whenever, and listening to podcasts at night. I got an iPod Shuffle to lighten the strain on my Touch, and with my iPad now I don't use my Touch as much anymore.
However, when I do use my Touch I notice how much less snappy it is with all Multi-Touch gestures and and orientation changing. And this is a problem I never noticed with my first Touch, even with it's overuse.
Is this normal? Can anyone tell if it isn't normal what might've happened to cause this and what could be done to remedy it? I'd imagine not a lot 'cause it'd most likely be a hardware problem, but I'd like to know if this happens frequently with people's devices, and if there's any danger of this happening to my iPad.
Thanks.
