Is there a way to have multiple languages available to u in mac os x? I know about the language bar at the top but I am more interested in having a spell checker for different languages. Is this possible? Also, can you change the spell checker in word? Thanks

In System Preferences, go to International and move your preferred language to the top of the list. You need to relaunch applications for this to take effect. Then, in all Cocoa applications, the spell checker (Spelling submenu in Edit menu) will be in that language.

if you have office x, you will need to install the multi-lanuage dictionary form the value pack section from the office x cd.
