CarPlay Multitouch CarPlay?

iOS 26 supposedly adds multitouch to things like maps so you can use pinch to zoom finally. But it looks like the manufacturer also has to support it which unfortunately mine doesn't.

Anyone else see it working yet?

BMW iX- mine doesn’t support it either. Disappointing.

Yeah Mercedes here and I have very little hope that they'll enable it in the future.

Multitouch is hardware dependent.

depending on the screen hardware in your car, they may not be able to just enable it with a software update.

Hardware definitely supports it. The native nav and Android Auto both support it. It's just CarPlay that doesn't.
