Hi everybody. Sorry, this is now a triple post, but the other forums I posted apparently was not the best one for this query. (absolutely no responses)

Anyway... I still have songs from iTunes that I import into my iPhone (iOS14.4). It is importing the some songs twice (or perhaps even more--I haven't checked all of them).

I suspect this is because I have the same song in two playlists. That's how I import the music--by playlist. But... isn't the iPhone/Music app "smart" enough to not import the same song twice, even if it is in two playlists? Have I checked an option somewhere in settings to do this? (And actually there are some songs being double imported, which are NOT in two playlists, so I'm even more baffled.)

I have looked through settings and found nothing that looks to be responsible.

I don't think this is iCloud-related: these are all songs on my desktop which I sync to the iPhone. I do not use iCloud for music.

Any ideas? Thanks.
