i've had the iphone 5 about two weeks now, and during the first week, after a day at work and leavin around 6pm the phone was at about 49%... now it's around 80% after leaving work. can't say my usage has changed that drastically...

anyone else experience this? now if i could only make a final decision between the white and black iphones...

My guess would be the 'novelty' has worn off slightly so you probably aren't using it as much. Just a thought.

Maybe it needed some "breaking-in" period? :)

Yeah the novelty thing most likely.

When I got my 4S I had to charge it at least twice a day, but now it's still on 97% halfway through the day - Def the novelty ;)

This is more likely the case.

my phone dies after almost 11 hours of usage and 21-22 hours on standby for the last 2 days. it's amazing. and i feel it charges faster than the iphone 4s. this is the best feature of iphone 5! even with almost same capacity as the previous iphone 4's battery, this makes me think what an achievement that apple made with tis A6 processor.
