So I have an e8400 overclocked to 3.6ghz intel 4gigs ram and a 5830 and i want to get a new 27" iMac top of line model.. I know we dont have official specs yet but hell hammer sounds pretty realistic.

Should imac be a bigbstep up for me? I only game in team fortress 2 so as long as that runs good I'll be happy.

I have a macmini unibody that I'll sell once I get iMac.

Or by looking at projected specs it I wont notice much difference.

Ps I game at 1900x1200

Thanks

For you it would not be a big upgrade. The Core ix CPU's are better but you have a fast CPU and I don't think TF2 is multithreaded enough to use more than 2 cores. Either way it's not a demanding game.
Your video card is also better.

New imacs rumored to be coming out soon though.
