Very impressed with the long battery life. I got mine at 8pm New York time yesterday. I opened it in the Apple store and use it right away, taking picture, shooting videos of the crowds, browsing Internet etc. I have been watching video for the whole day today and finally get the battery to 4%. It is nearly 24 hrs and i have been actively using it most of the time and I have not charged it.

My iPad 2 battery is still not dead since I got it yesterday.

They will last 10 hours watching video, music, and internet. Awesome battery on these things, (even the original). Probably one of the biggest benefits.
My original ipad can last a good few days of standard web usage on one charge. So not really surprised.
