My ipod touch isnt working need advice badly

well my friend asked me to jailbreak his 1.12 ipod touch so i told him i would so when i did all the steps such as going to www.jailbreakme.com it has being jailbreaking it for a long time and the screen wont change at all and when i plug it into my computer it doesnt show up in itunes

What should i do

read the how to restore guide up at the top of this page. im pretty sure that covers all of it.

restore to 2.2 and jailbreak don't live in the past with 1.1.2 lol

also if you read the page it says

"AppSnapp Installer for 1.1.1" not 1.1.2 which is why you failed

The only problem is everytime I turn off the iPod or turn it on it keeps loading the scripts and then it'll stop how can I fix this

Same thing happened to me. The only was is to reset your ipod to factory settings.

plug the iPod into pc/mac

if turned off it will turn on this is fine

whilst the script is on screen hold down the home and power buttons till the screen goes off

wait a couple of seconds

hold down the home and power buttons again and count to 10

when you get to about 8 get read to let go of power button and at 10 let go of power button and keep holding down the home button.

mac: after about 10 seconds iTunes should boot up saying it found iPod in recovery mode

pc: same as above but could take upto 30 sec instead

now just restore your iPod
