iPod touch my ipod touch wont unlock

hi all my ipod touch wont do much when you click on an item it just tells you what the item is in a very anoying voice it wont unlock just tells you what the slide bar is i have tried reset but it just goes back to that any ideas on how to clear it

It sounds very much like you have VoiceOver enabled. Follow the directions in this support article to disable VoiceOver.
