quick question...

I just got a refurb 2G Nano, and I have one of the original iPod docks - the one that came with the 3G iPod, and doesn't have the interchangeable faceplates. Would it be ok to put the Nano in that dock, or might it damage the dock connector? Anyone have any experience doing this?

TIA

yeah, I know it's the same connector, but I'm thinking more of the fact that because it's not being supported by anything at the base except the connector.. that might put stress on it

Not enough to actually do anything.. The Nano weighs nothing. If you're that worried, put a packing peanut or something behind it to keep the weight off the connector
