Native music app doesn't use the whole iPhone 5 screen??

    I had to rub my eyes when I noticed this one. The native music app is letterboxed on the bottom! Apple really couldn't creatively use that space for anything? Really?

    Err.. no it's not. That's where the volume slider is.

    It's not letterboxed, the volume slider is on the bottom.

    Aha I know what happened. My phone was plugged into my car through the lightning port, which removes the slider and just leaves black space there. It all makes sense now!
