What app are you guys using for texting from your Touch? I'm looking for something that allows you to send messages to people on AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, etc. and receive replies back from them as well. I'm leaning towards TextNow since it's a one-time fee for unlimited messages but I'd like to hear what everyone else uses. I want it to be able to send the messages to people at their cell phone number too so I'm not interested in anything that requires you to send to an email address, etc. This is for my niece who has recently discovered texting, so we're just looking for something that allows her to send messages to a small group of family members (it's just for fun). Thx.

Looks interesting. I'm trying it out right now but I'm not sure if I like the ads. I would probably rather pay the $4.99 for TextNow if it means that there aren't any ads.

Just for anyone thinking that was a "UK-aimed" answer - it wasn't. The reviews for Text-for-Free on the app. store are quite funny - here in UK at least.
It's not exactly an app, but what about adding a link to http://www.cbfsms.com/ to your homepage?
