Need equivalent of RealTemp/Prime95 for the Mac to stress test it, what's out there?

    I am going to be putting in some news CPU's in my MacPro and was wondering what is the most accurate temperature reading software for the Mac? Also something to stress it with like Prime95...

    Install iStat Pro to get accurate readings of your temps, among other things.

    No, I just use mine and don't bother with tests that have nothing to do with my actual daily use.

    Get a long-ish HD-quality video on YouTube and make the player full screen.

    That should get the fans spinning.

    As linked above, Prime95 has a Mac version.
