need help finding mac address.

so i want to find the mac address on a computer at school (theres many. doesnt matter which one) how would i do this when system preferences is blocked?

Why would you want the MAC address of a system? It's of no use except at Layer 2.

The X is either 0 (ethernet) or 1 (airport)

terminal is blocked also. its a school computer, they block a lot of apps.

Yeah he said he couldn't access System Preferences. Anyways why do you need the MAC Address for?

He only said macfilters, which I assume he means MAC filters. Either way, he's being shady, so I'm dropping out of this help request. If he can't give a legit reason for something like this, it really sounds like he's trying to bypass security so I'll let him sort it out.
