I have a macbook, and only a macbook... No pc. I just ordered DSL service and attempted to install a router (Netgear) to my modem so I can go wireless, but the disc isn't compatible with macs so I have no idea what I am doing. How can I do this?

You do not really need the disk. First try to hook up your router to your DSL and turn on AirPort through your MacBook. It should search for your wireless network. If not read the directions from the NetGear box and see if there is a Router IP Address. It should be 192.168.1.1 and it should ask for a User Name and a Password. Usually the user name is blank and the password is "Admin." From there you can see what IP Address your computer should use. Hopefully this helps, if it doesn't let me know so I can continue to try to help.
